    About the author

Author and painter, Jennifer Grahame started painting at age 50 and wrote her first novel at age 61. Jennifer is currently studying Visual Arts with Professor Eugenio D'Melon.

Born in St. Andrew, Jamaica, she attended Wolmer’s Girls’ School and The University of Technology (formerly CAST).

An avid reader, Jennifer also likes beading, needlepoint and crossword puzzles.

Film options have been sold for The Bed Head and Jacks Hill Road.

The Bed Head will be adapted for the film "Unspoken".

The Bead Head is the story of a reluctant Helper drawn into an unwanted love affair.  Economic reasons keep her in the job until one day her lover makes a surprising declaration.  A comedy at first glance, The Bed Head explores some of the deadly undertones of Caribbean life.
